We told you we’ve been busy behind the scenes and here’s one of the projects that’s been on hold since Oct because the commercial jars and lids we needed were delayed due to supply chain issues.
We’ve finally received test jars and lids from our wholesaler so we can fill and seal using our new process; then send off to the lab and Food Processing Authority of Texas for approval. We expect the new process to save us hours a day when cooking and canning. The new process will also make it more efficient and easier to make the next step to go into a commercial kitchen (Don’t worry, we will always have a handcrafted version of our salsa made in our own kitchen!).
Finally, as an added bonus, we’ll be able to use larger labels for larger graphics and larger font for the text.
